Spinner Island is a 55 acre property located at the tip of the Grizzly Island Suisun Marsh wildlife area. Founded in the late 1890's by Charles Spinner it was used primarily as and artichoke and asparagus farm until the mid 1940's. It was then transformed into a duck and pheasant club by the Malfatano family. They built the existing 4 Bedroom house and structures and used it for many generations. In the early 80's Vintner Tom Leonardini of White Hall Vineyards bought it and continued to run a top notch Duck and Pheasant club for his friends and stars like Joe Montana and Dusty Baker. The next owner bought Spinner in the 90's. After his passing, the Island was again put up for sale.

In January 2008 Spinner Island was purchased by a group of friends with a vision to create a special Hunt and Social Club. The owners are a very diverse group both male and female. The property is used year round by members, family and friends. The annual 4th of July party has become a unique delta experience for many. The long term goal is to allow many generations of families a great place to relax and enjoy the delta life style on a ranch style property surrounded by water.

Spinner is accessible by land air or sea. Most take a boat from the town of Pittsburg, which is 50 minutes by car from San Francisco or Marin County. A helipad is located 100 feet from the house.
